Earl Warren Showgrounds Celebrates 50th Anniversary with WorldFest '08 - October 18 -19
Santa Barbara, California - In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Earl Warren Showgrounds,
a cultural festival called World Fest '08 will be held at the Earl Warren Showrounds on October 18 & 19, 2008.
World Fest '08 will be a two-day community celebration featuring music, dance, food and traditions of cultures from around the world plus a carnival and games.
The festival is bridging time and cultural divides for a fun filled weekend festival! Come join in the celebration of this areas cultural diversity and the 50th Anniversary of the Earl Warren Showgrounds.
World Fest '08 will start each day at 11:00am and go through 10:00pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children 6-12 and seniors over 60 and free for children 5 and under. Parking will be free in the Showgrounds parking lot.

....and even more! As part of the cultural diversity exotic food and drink will abound starting with Chinese Tea from Dragon Pearl Tea and an Ethiopian Coffee Experience
from Taste of Hope with world food delicacies from Tacos De Asada to Orange Chicken.
Arts and crafts from around the world will also be on display with items from the hill tribes of Thailand from Heart Imports to beaded crafts
items made by the Masai from Tanzania & Kenya Africa provided by Wildhope International Artisans.
Any cultural or ethic group wishing to promote their goals through the display of their talents, crafts, cuisine are invited to participate.

There is still booth space available to groups wishing to fundraise through the sale of ethnic food, crafts or
products. Booth space for non-profit groups will be free.
